The 54-metre superyacht Starfire has been sold, Northrop & Johnson have announced, with Kevin Merrigan and Wes Sanford from Northrop & Johnson representing the seller and Michael Rafferty from IYC representing the buyer.
The 54-metre superyacht Starfire (ex: Ambrosia) was launched in 1998 by the Italian yard Benetti and features exterior design from Stefano Natucci, with interior design from Zuretti Interior Design. The interior of this tri-deck motor yacht features an Art Deco aesthetic with a slightly Oriental influence.
On board, Starfire accommodates 12 guests across six staterooms, including one owner’s stateroom, one VIP, two generous double cabins and two twins. In addition, she boasts two salons, two dining rooms, a massage room and numerous outdoor social spaces for guest enjoyment as well as a touch-and-go helipad for easy arrival and departure.
Following a successful charter career spanning 20 years, Starfire is preparing to complete her Lloyds Special Survey and a refit to be ready for her new owner.
Powered by twin diesel Deutz AG 1573 hp engines, Starfire has a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots, with a range of 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. She is also fitted with zero speed stabilisers.
At the time of sale, Starfire was listed at $13,900,000.
