Behind the construction of M/Y Day’s by Ice Yachts

The Italian yard has released a truly sensual “behind the scenes” video, unveiling the process of creation of the 68-meter M/Y Day’s at the AES Yacht facility in Turkey.

The building of the superyacht is proceeding according to plan and on schedule. The delivery is due for the end of 2018. The joint venture works together with the renowned Italian design studio, Hot Lab for the sleek exterior style and a stylishly minimalistic internal design.

The project management is carried out by the yacht’s customer’s representative Jacques Potgieter, whose extensive sea-going and operational experience in yachting should ensure the boat’ functionality and efficiency.

Part of Ice Yachts explorer vessels all-new range, the five-deck M/Y Day’s accommodates 12 guests. The owner’s area occupies the entire upper deck. The apartment like feel is achieved by the use of large continuous full-height windows all around the owner’s cabin that has two large walk-in wardrobes, two en-suite bathrooms, a gym and a massage room.

The guest area is on the main deck with three big VIP cabins, one guest cabin with single beds and an additional cabin. All guest cabins are equipped with en-suite bathrooms and a walk-in closet.

Particular attention was given to the owner’s privacy, developing a direct access to the sky-lounge business meeting room from the exterior tender arrival position, as the owner will use the vessel both for pleasure and business.

The crew quarters on the lower deck sleep for up to 18 members, apart from the captain’s cabin on the bridge deck.

The boat’s vital statistics include a total length of 68 meters, a beam of 13 meters and the internal volume, measuring 1.800 GRT.
