Italian yacht builder Codecasa Shipyards, known for its steel and light alloy motor yachts, has just announced that is building a new 55 metre motor yacht. Presently known by its project name and hull number, Hull C123, it is a fully custom design.
The 55 metre Codecasa motor yacht will have four decks and a full displacement hull. Initial exterior renderings show a clean and elegant lines. According to Codecasa, the styling has been designed to be in keeping with the familial traits of the builder’s line up.
The technical side of the project is being developed by Codecasa’s in-house team, while the interiors are designed by the owner’s own interior designer in cooperation with the yard’s style department. Expansive windows across all decks are planned to create well-lit interior spaces. The interior will be “comfortable and bright”.
Codecasa hull C123 motor yacht is equipped with twin Caterpillar engines and will be able to reach a maximum speed of 17 knots at light displacement.
Delivery is scheduled for summer 2020. Codecasa’s 65 metre Hull F74, another fully custom project, is also currently in build at the yard in Viareggio, Italy, with delivery slated for 2019.
