The 37.1-meter RP120 has been handed over to a repeat customer as an early Christmas present for his growing family. The third Horizon motor-yacht perfectly suites her owners’ plans to cruise in the Bahamas and South Florida, the Taiwanese shipyard explains.
RP120 features a sleek exterior profile by American designer JC Espinosa built upon Horizon’s proven low resistance hull platform for improved comfort when underway. Besides, for the speed benefits, the yard managed to reduce 5% of the total boat’s weight.
Although there is no information as to the actual speed that the boat is able to reach, it is known that she is powered by a pair of 1.900hp Caterpillar C32A engines. With her total fuel reserve of 30.000 litres, the yacht is well-equipped for long-range cruising.
Luca Dini was responsible for the interior styling, using breeze oak to create a contemporary ambiance with strong European influences. The yacht’s 7.9-meter beam provides a functional five en-suite guest stateroom layout, including the master cabin, as well as crew quarters aft of the engine room.
The boat’s key amenities include an open-plan saloon with separate recreation areas and a circular spa pool on the spacious sundeck.
Among projects currently underway at the Taiwan-based shipyard is the fast-displacement FD87 Skyline.
