Superyacht show organizer Informa has taken on the London On-Water Boat Show (LOWBS) in St Katharine Docks (next to the Tower Bridge) ahead of its 2019 edition. The next event, the first under Informa’s management, will take place from 9th to 12th May 2019.
Informa Exhibitions already runs the Monaco Yacht Show and Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) as part of its extensive portfolio.
The London On-Water Boat Show has also confirmed a new partnership with British Marine, the UK’s trade association for the leisure, superyacht and small commercial marine industry and the organizers of the Southampton Boat Show. The relationship has been formed to develop and enhance the event for exhibitors, sponsors and visitors alike.
The alliance will strengthen the bond between the show and the UK yachting and boating industry, and enable key partners, from yacht builders and brokers to equipment and service providers, to contribute to the continued growth of LOWBS in the future.
Lesley Robinson, chief executive officer of British Marine, noted, “We are delighted to confirm our partnership with The London On-Water Boat Show and are very excited to be working with them to deliver a world-class luxury event in this historic location at the heart of the capital.”
The event is now in its fifth year and welcomes yachts, boats, cars and a host of luxury brands.
