Rally Turkey organisers have revealed the winning driver at this month’s event (13-16 September) will scoop a unique prize: a week’s holiday aboard a 47-metre super yacht.
Final preparations are currently being made for the gravel rally’s return to the WRC calendar for the first time since 2010. The route for the 10th round of the year consists of 17 stages that pass through Turkey’s Marmaris and Muğla regions.
To celebrate the occasion, Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED) officials will give the fastest driver – along with a party of friends and family – the use of the ‘Bebe’ luxury motor yacht for a week so they can explore the Turkish Riviera.
The custom-built vessel can accommodate 12 guests and boasts a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, air conditioning and WiFi – and even a piano.
“’Bebe’ is a stunning super yacht and I am sure the winning driver and his family and friends will enjoy a memorable holiday aboard,” said Serkan Yazici, President of TOSFED.
“The Turkish Riviera offers stunning scenery, beaches, coves and mooring points and the winner of Rally Turkey will be able to relax and enjoy the region in luxurious surroundings.”
The race to secure the use of the Bebe super yacht will get underway on Thursday 13 September when the historic Meydan area of Marmaris hosts the ceremonial start.
