Italian yard Permare has announced the launch of their latest Amer Cento motor yacht in Viareggio last week. As the fourth hull of the Amer Cento series, the 29.6-metre GRP motor yacht features exterior design and naval architecture by the Italian studio Verme Projects.
Large windows on the main deck and below deck characterise the design of the grey-hulled yacht, the surfaces of which have been intentionally designed to create a ‘chiaroscuro‘ effect when light falls on the vessel.
The Amer Cento motor yacht comes equipped with four 1200 HP Volvo Penta diesel engines driving her to a top speed of 32 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots. She has also been designed with reducing fuel consumption in mind.
The latest Amer Cento superyacht is expected to make her debut at this year’s upcoming boat shows, with two additional hulls also in build by the shipyard, according to Permare.
