Azmont Investments has signed an agreement with Turkey’s D-Marin for the operation of Montenegro’s mega-yacht marina Portonovi, Portonovi Resort operator said on Friday.
D-Marina will operate Portonovi Marina as of 2018, Portonovi Resort said in a statement.
With this contract, the marina, situated within the Portonovi Resort on the Montenegrin coast, will offer comfortable accommodation to its guests, the resort operator said.
Azmont Investments, a subsidiary of Azerbaijan Global Investments (AGI), has invested a total of 221 million euro ($274.4 million) in the construction of the luxury Portonovi resort since 2012, Montenegrin media reported in June 2017.
The entire Portonovi resort will cover an area of 26 ha, featuring a luxury One&Only hotel, 290 townhouses, apartments and villas, a marina with 220 berths for superyachts, yacht and beach clubs, spas and restaurants.
D-Marin is a subsidiary of Turkey’s Dogus Group, which manages 10 marinas in the Ionian, Aegean and Adriatic Seas, including the largest marina in Croatia.
