Ocean Independence has announced the in-house sale of the 38.4-metre explorer yacht Andrea; with Jeremy Comport representing the seller and Lukas Stratmann the buyer.
Built by the Seattle-based shipbuilder Delta Marine in 2003 with a GRP hull and superstructure; the 456GT explorer yacht sports in-house naval architecture and interior and exterior designs by the UK design firm Kirschstein Designs Ltd.
With an 8.5-metre beam and a maximum draught of three metres; the explorer superyacht Andrea has made her way around the world in comfort and style.
Five cabins comprised of a master suite, two double staterooms and two twin cabins accommodate up to 12 guests as well as a crew of eight who are housed in four cabins.
Twin diesel Caterpillar 3508B engines power Andrea to a top speed of 14 knots and also a cruising speed of 12 knots. With a fuel capacity of 65,600L, travelling at an economical speed gives her a transatlantic range of 6,500 nautical miles.
Meanwhile, at the time of sale, the America-built yacht Andrea had an asking price of €9,750,000.
