Grand Prix of Saudi Arabia postponed

A powerboat race has also been added to the news about the cancellation or postponement of sports events around the world due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

F1H2O has announced that the 2020 season kickoff in Saudi Arabia, Jeddah Grand Prix has been ‘delayed’.

H2O Racing, promoter and organizer of the UIM- F1H2O World Championship announces that the upcoming Grand Prix of Saudi Arabia has been postponed to a new date due to the coronavirus global outbreak.

The decision has been taken in agreement with the Local Organizers and the Official Authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to ensure protection of all the participants.

Health and safety of the local community, participants and staff has always been of paramount importance and come at the top of all priorities.

New dates will be announced in due course pending developments.

According to the F1H2O 2020 calendar the next round of the UIM F1H2O World Championship is over the weekend of May 8-10 in Portimao, Portugal.
