Sydney has come to the SailGP launch party bearing the best type of gifts – warm summer weather and wind for the opening day of racing on Sydney’s beautiful deep-water harbor.
This afternoon from 4pm AEDT, six teams of world-class athletes flying six different country flags will turn thousands of heads when the SailGP start gun fires for the first time ever.
For those lucky enough to be in Sydney there are still opportunities to witness the first event of the revolutionary world circuit and fleet of high-tech F50 catamarans powered by teams from Australia, China, Japan, Great Britain, France and the United States of America.
Limited tickets on board Captain Crook Cruises’ official SailGP spectator vessels can still be purchased for the final day of racing on Saturday afternoon, February 16. Two levels of guest experience are on offer.
In the last 24 hours Captain Cook Cruises has extended its SailGP offer to existing guests with a two-day upgrade option for those who already have tickets for Friday.
While, Australian viewers can watch the racing live on FOX SPORTS or stream live on Kayo.
